| About Our Martial Arts Weapons | ||
| Bokken and Shinai · The bokken is solid wood weapon in the shape of a samurai sword. · The shinai is a hollow sword made of bamboo tied with leather and impacts with much less force than a Bokken. · Two-piece handguards are included with all Bokken and Shinai. |
Escrimas · Escrima sticks are usually 26-28" and are also called Kali, Arnis or Martial Arts sticks. · Escrima sticks made of harder materials (like polycarbonate or labsica) last longer but impact with more force that a softer stick. · A foam Escrima is softer, which lessens the risk of injury if you strike a sparring partner. |
Kamas · Even unsharpened Kamas can cause serious injury. Extreme care should be used when using kamas and other martial arts weapons. · Foam Rubber Kamas or Demo Kamas are a safer alternative for kama drills. · A Kama Case makes a great gift for anyone who uses kamas. |

| Nunchaku · Nunchucks come in 8", 12" or 14". · Padded Nunchucks provide safety while keeping the weight and feel of traditional nunchucks without the danger of the true weapons. · To make your forms demonstrations brilliant, use the LED Acrylic Nunchaku. |
Sais · The sai is one of the most distinctive and known of the martial arts weapons. · To select the correct size sai for you measure from the end of your middle finger to your elbow and select the sai that is closest to that length. · The sai is highly effective in defenses against sword attacks. |
Staffs · Youth Staffs are shorter and have a smaller diameter than traditional staffs. · Your bo staff should be a few inches taller than you. · A Staff Case allows you to carry your bo easily on your back and makes it for easier to carry a few bos at a time. |

| Stars · Ninja are famous for using shuriken, or ninja throwing stars. · The stars were very inaccurate, and were usually used as a delaying weapon if a ninja were being chased. · Although they had little chance of striking, seeing a sharp metal blade whizzing through the air would likely make even the toughest of pursuers hesitate. |
Swords · A well crafted Samurai Sword will be both a beautiful ornament and conversation piece. · Samurai swords have a graceful curve while Ninja Swords are straight and shorter than samurai swords. · Our Sword Case allows you to securely hold and protect one Wakizashi with scabbard and one Katana with scabbard. |
Tonfas · Your tonfa should extend half an inch beyond your elbow for optimum defense. · All tonfa are sold as a pair. · Canadian Ash is the preferred wood for tonfa because of its resiliency and light weight. |
